Five Months Old!!

Our Pudding Pie (my nickname for Adaline) is Five Months Old today!!! Hard to believe!

We don't go back to the doctor for her next check up until six months so I don't have any stats. She does appear to becoming a brown eyed girl...just like her momma! :) Every now and again they look hazel (like her daddy) but we think they are more brown then anything so we shall see. Her hair is getting blonder and continues to grow/fill in. We even had success with wearing a real bow last weekend! She has rolled over from front to back on several occasions and has come close to rolling over back to front but isn't there yet. No teeth yet (phew! I am not rushing it.) but she continues to try and put everything in her mouth, including your hand so that she can suck on it so the teeth are not far away.

She is taking 7 ounce bottles at daycare and I continue to nurse first thing in the morning and before bed. She also has a "snack" of a veggie and cereal prior to her bedtime nursing. She goes to bed right at 7pm.... its like clockwork (so fortunate!) and for the most part she sleeps straight through the night until, on average, 5:30am. Some mornings she starts to cry out about 3am for her pacifier but as soon as you put it back in she is back out.

Adaline continues to be a joy. She cries when she is tired, hungry, or restless but other than that she is laid back. We love going to pick her up from daycare and watching the huge grins as she recognizes us. When she wakes up in her crib either first thing in the  morning or after a nap she just lights up and dances when she sees us. It's those little moments I hope I never forget. They make my day!!
