Eleven months old!

Adaline is just one month shy of being a one year old... so hard to believe!!

She continues to excel and is such a happy, strong willed little girl! I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to stay at home with her since the beginning of the month. She and I are finding our new routine and I think we are doing pretty good as a team! She does miss playing with other children so I am looking for a good mother's morning out program.

Adaline at Eleven Months:

She still sleeps through the night and now that we are on our own routine she sleeps in until 8am!! (So grateful!!)

She takes two naps, typically 1-2 hours each nap. (Again, so grateful!)

She eats three meals, and we are working on cutting out her three bottles a day. For the past two days we have been able to put her down for her afternoon nap without a bottle. We hope to continue this and continue to cut. Goal is no bottles by one year old...

She LOVES to eat... preferably ham, bread, shredded cheddar cheese, pasta, and BANANAS! But she will pretty much eat anything she can feed herself...no baby food please!

She is walking everywhere...no crawling for this little one. And she can now stand up by herself without having to use a chair, wall or any other object to pull up on. She is really doing well with walking.

She still loves peek-a-boo and music. Give this girl a beat and she is dancing! We love it.

She has 12 teeth!

She is wearing size 4 diapers and 5's at night...yes that is correct. She is still my chunky baby and we love it!! Seeing her walk around without a shirt on is so cute!

She says dada and mama but only sometimes to us...majority of times its just in general chatting. She also says "hiiiii", "hey" and "bye bye". (She also waves) We are still mastering blowing kisses and high fives but most times she can do them with some coaxing. She still loves to flap her fingers over her lips and loves when you tap her hand to her mouth as she makes noise (like the "Indian" imitation).

She is so silly and so much fun. She definitely keeps us on our toes! She is into everything!!!
