It was a wonderful Christmas! The only glitche the whole Christmas break was a double ear infection for poor Miss A! It caught us completely off guard as she has never had one before but Motrin and antibiotics quickly brought our happy, spirited girl back around! We are so thankful this was just now our first (and hopefully last) experience with an ear infection. This was also the first time she has ever had to be on antibiotics...not a bad two year run!!
We hope you and yours also had a merry and bright Christmas and are off to a healthy start in 2014!!
Aiken Christmas
Carlisle cousins...five soon to be eight!
Yoohoo and her girls
Yoohoo made each of the grands their own card table forts, they are too precious for words and boy were they a hit!!!
The girls splashing in puddles and singing Ring Around the Rosie in their new rain boots!
Our Christmas at home
Santa came!! (And yes Eli did get a stocking and yes Santa did fill it already :)
Using her new doctor kit...
Ready for Christmas Eve Mass...sweetness.
Christmas in Columbia
They waited so patiently for Gammy and Papa to dish out their presents and say GO!
We even managed to squeeze in an overnight play date with the Osborne boys! First stop Hollywild where Catherine got up close and personal with a cow bigger then the van. (This was also the first time we could fit all three kids in their car seats in ONE vehicle...that alone made Catherine and I happy!)
I mean seriously...look at the size of these things! And you get to feed them directly from your windows....
If only I was quick enough to catch this on video... you should have heard her squeal... Catherine that is- not the cow. (And the kids all politely requested their windows not be rolled down. :)
Next adventure... looking at all the beautiful trees at St Francis' Christmas Tree Festival
This playdate cost us a whopping six cents.... so our little ones could make big wishes into the wishing wells. Money well spent ;)
