One Month Old

I am very behind on posting this but its hard to get time (alone) behind the computer these days :)
Elijah is now seven weeks old but here are his stats and some pictures from his one month birthday.

Elijah is growing sooo fast. I know everyone always says this about babies but I really feel like he has doubled in size on us already!! He is a sweet baby and slowly starting to show us his personality. He loves his mommy and is not afraid to voice his discontent when anyone other than me is holding him...we are working through this. I love him too but cannot hold him 24/7 :) And his daddy needs to get his turn too.

The doctor was quite impressed with how strong his neck muscles are. He has a slight flat spot on the back left side of his head so we are working on that. He is also getting over baby acne and still has the goopy eyes. He loves to sleep with one or both arms above his head. He also loves being bounced and patted and would have you do it all day long if you would let him! At one month old he is waking to nurse around 2 or 3am and again at 5:30amish. (Sneak peak to today and he is pretty much sleeping through the night- whoot whoot!!!)

Adaline continues to think he is pretty special and fun to have around. The only moments where she would rather him not be "there" are when Eli is crying at the same time she is cranky and over tired. Those (rare) moments are tough and usually hit when we are in the car and there is nothing I can do about it but pray to God for serenity!! Other than those moments she is happy to bring me a burp cloth or diaper or try to make Eli laugh at her while she sings or dances. She calls him her little buddy :))))

Weight: 11 lbs; 64.46% (gained 4lbs!)

Length: 22 inches; 61.72% (grew 2in!!)
