Two year old stats

Adaline weighs 31lbs (94.41 percentile) and is 35 inches tall (77.94 percentile). In the last six months she has grown almost three inches and gained three pounds. Dr Nelson said Adaline was looking great. She was so impressed Adaline called her doctor and said four and five word sentences while we were there. 

I want to take a moment and capture a few of our favorite things Adaline is doing at this age. I know that as hard as I try to memorize every special moment some will leave me or will blur together with Eli's special moments so I better write them down! 

Adaline is happy and full of spunk and personality 90% of the day. She still makes us laugh out loud all day long whether it be her silly faces, dancing and singing, or just plan old playful silliness. 

When she wakes up in the morning or from her naps she asks everyone if they had sweet dreams. 

She tells us she loves us all the time and will hug (and give you pats on the back). Just the other night before bed she and I were sitting together having some quiet time and she climbed up in my lap and said "hug momma. Your my best friend." 😍😍😍😍

She loves all things girlie. She doesn't think there is anything odd about sporting a tutu on any given day to any given place. She loves to accessorize!!  At school today they made Indian feather hats and the teacher told me Adaline was the only one who would wear her hat. No surprise there!!!

She remembers everything and has a vocabulary that shocks me. We passed Walmart today and without missing a beat she said "Walmart momma"

She loves to sing and dance!!! And it doesn't have to be just nursery rhymes although Wheels on the Bus is still a favorite. 

She says her ABC's (although L, M, N, O, P can come out as M, M, M, M, P :) counts to 14 and sometimes further. She knows a few colors (orange is a favorite right now) and almost all her shapes. 

She loves ice cream (just like her momma). And she adores her family- cousins, aunts, grandparents, etc. and we hope she welcomes her little brother with as much love! 

She says thank you, bless you, your welcome, and is working on excuse me. 

She is as stubborn and independent as they come. She is tough as nails and hops up from most falls and boo boo's. The girl can absolutely exhaust me with her tantrums and dramatic outbursts but her loving, happy, spunkiness helps me over look her sometimes bad attitude. I am so grateful she is so full of personality!!
