Eli is a sitter now!!! He does tire out or loose his balance at times but he can sit independently now for long periods of times. And he is so proud of himself!!!his favorite new activities are jumping in his exercauser and johnny jumper. Anything where he can be upright and part of the action!! He also loves swinging in the baby swings at the park. He just chuckles and chuckles as he swings.
He is eating rice cereal, a veggie and a fruit at dinner time and we have just started a lunch of a veggie or fruit too. He loves to eat and fusses when you don't feed him fast enough.
We are using up the last of his size three diapers so we can move onto size four. I do have to put him in size four at night to help with leakage.
Speaking of night time...Eli is still not sleeping through the night :( A good night he gets up twice (nursing once around 3:30am). A bad night he gets up four times, nursing two to three times. Needless to say I'm still tired ;) He takes three naps a day; typically two two hour naps and a one hour nap after dinner. Bedtime is 8ish and he wakes anywhere from 5:30 to 7am. Obviously the latter is appreciated more so.
Eli is a happy boy as long as you are giving him attention. He has the biggest wide open mouth grin and loves to flirt an chuckle. He is soooo ticklish. E loves to watch his sister. He has rolled over from front to back and vice versa but doesn't attempt it often. Still no teeth but he is chewing on everything and droooooooling.
We go to the doctor for his six month check up on Tuesday so I will report back then with stats!
