Anyways, Eli is doing great! He is such a happy boy. He is very curious and loves to laugh and watch people. At the same time, he can be very sensitive. If you tell him "no, no" he starts to cry. :) I am still trying to figure out exactly what type of personality he will have.
He has learned to crawl!!! Eli is so strong I knew once he put it all the motions together we would be in trouble! He now follows me from room to room trying to keep up (and he does a good job!!)
He is outgrowing 12 month clothes, eating three full meals a day, and still nursing. Bedtime is around 7:45 and he wakes for the day around 7:15. He does of course still wake at night but it is getting better. He can now sit up on his own and he often does this in his crib when he wakes in the middle of the night. Then its as if he gets confused and can't remember how to lay back down which means mommy or daddy is called in to help. He does wake around 5am to nurse and then goes right back down. He takes two naps a day averaging about 1.5-2 hours each nap. He has five teeth (top center two, bottom center two and one to the right of the bottom center) and is painfully working on two more (on either side of the top teeth).
The whole family shared the stomach bug at Christmas time and poor Eli has had the hardest time shaking it. The doctors say it is because this is his first stomach bug and he doesn't have the immunity to fight it. A week later and we are still battling some vomiting and diarrhea. He has been a trooper through it though.
