It felt like it took FOREVER to get to our gender appointment but finally June 13th was upon us! Up to this many friends and family members had weighed in on what they thought we were having. It was an even toss up between boy or girl but my mom knew for sure we were having a girl. And very early on in my pregnancy I had a dream where I told my family we were having a girl. And of course, mom's always right! We are having a sweet baby girl!!!! The first girl for either side of our family! So needless to say we have all enjoyed going shopping these days! There are so many adorable little girl things out there!!

At this appointment not only do you get a great tour of every inch of your baby but amazingly enough the Ultrasound Tech can view and rule out many concerns. Our baby looked very healthy, has working kidneys, all four heart chambers, a healthy spine and so on. This was just as thrilling to hear as it was finding out the gender! In addition to good report we also discovered our girl's little legs and arms are in the 88th percentile. Her legs alone are 4 inches long!
