We wanted to tell our family and friends the gender in a fun way. For my parents, parents-in-law, sister-in-law, and girlfriends we mailed out in advance "gender packages". When they got the text from us they were to open the package, read the poem inside and then open up Bag #1 or Bag #2. (They of course were instructed to open package number one.)
The Mother Goose Poem-
What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dog tails
That's what little boys are made of!
What are little girls made of?
Sugar and spice and all things nice
That's what little girls are made of!

Package Number 2:
(Little Snails and Puppy Dogs)
We told my brothers and their wives (who are also out of towners) via a fun video. My co-star is my adorable nephew Luke. He did a great job! (Of course the pink cupcake waiting on the side lines was a great motivator!)
